ECHOES Interim Meeting:
Strengthening Youth Voices for Climate Action

The ECHOES partners gathered on 23 May 2025 in Zaragoza, hosted by Viaje a la Sostenibilidad, for the project’s Interim Meeting. Representatives from all partner organisations joined onsite and online to review progress and shape the next stages of the project.
The meeting focused on evaluating the first half of the project, discussing the implementation of international youth worker exchanges, local trainings, and the upcoming digital campaign. Partners shared positive feedback about youth exchanges, emphasising how the experiences improved collaboration and climate engagement. It was agreed that all exchanges and local trainings will be finalised by October–November 2025.
CERA Europe presented plans for the 4-month digital campaign to start in autumn, linking young people’s voices to policymakers across Europe. Each partner will contribute by organising local dissemination events and connecting with at least three decision-makers per country.
The group also discussed the creation of Youthpass certificates, the inclusion of local training participants in advocacy activities, and the upcoming Green Skills for the Future Hackathon. To ensure quality and sustainability, partners decided to request a five-month project extension, allowing more time for digital outreach and reporting.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to the project’s main goal: amplifying youth participation in climate decision-making across Europe.
