Coordination CRH Organises Local Workshops in Belgium
One of the goals of the ECHOES project was to test the educational materials developed in each country.
In Belgium, we collaborated with CERA Europe.
At Coordination-CRH, we reached out to Marie Piret, a high school social studies teacher, to organize workshops with her students.
We held two classroom sessions designed to challenge our beliefs, explore concepts through play, encourage reflection, and raise awareness.
Providing information and support to young people is essential to help them make their voices heard and become aware of the emerging issues in which they are full participants.
We would have liked to have met with the young people more often to go deeper with them…
Overall, what we take away from these encounters is: a wealth of insights, questions, spontaneity, and the need to strengthen the bond between young people and the “adult” world to foster greater engagement and dialogue and to spark a curiosity that isn’t always activated…
