Youth Worker Mobility in Zaragoza, Spain!

From 21 May to 3 June 2025, Viaje a la Sostenibilidad welcomed two international youth workers (from CERA and Stichting Yeuth) to Zaragoza for a two-week exchange. The visit became an inspiring opportunity to highlight our local climate action and sustainability projects, while also learning from fresh international perspectives.

Shared Learning and Contributions
During their stay, the youth workers engaged in the Training course Art4All where they could see first hand the non-formal methodologies we use, as well as a wide range of community initiatives in Zaragoza, from grassroots environmental groups to youth-led social projects. Their active participation enriched our work, especially through their contributions to the ECHOES project, where they reviewed our educational Toolkit and co-designed new activities for local implementation.

Their insights helped us make the Toolkit more engaging and relevant for young people, while their feedback connected our local practices to broader European discussions on climate justice, sustainability, and youth participation.

Building Lasting Connections
Beyond project contributions, the exchange created valuable space for dialogue and reflection. The conversations we shared reinforced the importance of linking local action to European networks, and reminded us of the strength that comes from mutual exchange and collaboration.

Looking Ahead
This experience has laid a strong foundation for future partnerships. Together with the sending organisations, we see great potential to collaborate on youth participation, environmental education, and sustainability initiatives.
